Analysis of practice of blockchain technology application in financial management

The results of analysis of practice of blockchain technology application and prospects for the development of digital assets are presented. Main advantages and disadvantages of blockchain technology and its basic principles and applications are described. Based on international and Russian practice, descriptions of such new phenomena as mining and initial coin offering are presented. Significant events for the cryptocurrency market are analyzed, prospects for their use in financial management are suggested. Opportunities and difficulties for legislative regulation of digital assets turnover are revealed. Assessment was made for Russian and worldwide cryptocurrency market development prospects, considering emerging experience of different countries in regulation of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies application.
