Internet censorship as a philosophical problem of modern society

The article investigates the problem of the Internet censorship. The study reveals the concept of "Internet" and "censorship" and presents the countries where the Internet censorship has been used for several years. We consider the possibility of its use and methods for its introduction in the Russian Internet space. In our research we analyzed the ways of applying the censorship, from the perspective of human rights and freedoms. Findings of the study bring us to the conclusion on the permissible actions of the Internet censorship in the modern world.
