Happiness as the main problem of philosophical anthropology

The article investigates human understanding of the concept of happiness. The study shows how the attitude to this problem has been changing since the ancient times to present days. We also consider the views of philosophers, religious and philosophical doctrine - Buddhism and the concept of "nirvana".
