The article considers the function of the anabolic medications. It analyzes the essential functions performed by the sex hormones. We outline the types of the anabolic drugs, show the methods for their production and improvement and examine the impact of such medications on human body (sportsperson’s body). The drugs classification is given in reliance on the anabolic index. We consider the working phases of the body during the work-out session and analyze the mechanisms of exposure to the drug. The article investigates the problems from the chemical and biological points of view.
