Trademark infringement when selling goods on marketplaces

he article considers one of the most topical problems of modern electronic commerce - violation of exclusive rights to the trademark in the sale of goods on marketing platforms. The novelty of the article topic is due to the rapid growth of online trade, an increase in the share of counterfeit products distributed through electronic trading platforms. The article analyzes the current legal regulation of activities on sale of goods by marketing agents and direct sellers. The article investigates measures to bring them to responsibility in the field of intellectual property, features of the status of a marketeer as an information intermediary, noted features of differentiation of liability between the direct seller and the platform operator. The article provides recommendations for improving regulatory and liability of participants in the e-commerce market.
