Modern opportunities for manufacturing and technical and forensic investigation of securities

The article is devoted to the technology of manufacturing securities related to the protected polygraphic products. In terms of protection of forms, registered and order securities should have a protection level "B", and blank forms of bearer securities — protection level "A" (maximum). Technical requirements for forms of different levels are analyzed. The elements of protection used in the production of forms of securities are defined: watermarks, protective thread, protective fibers, paint, luminescent in ultraviolet rays, holograms, etc. The application of quantum dot technology is proposed — the use of nanocrystals of inorganic semiconductor material as an additional element of protection of securities from forgery.
