Modern agro-industrial complexes require efficient solutions in the low-volume production systems. In the highly competitive environment, this approach is caused by the necessity to increase productivity, reduce costs and ensure their stable operation. The paper analyzes the existing modular system solutions, compares various parameters (types of connections, design materials, material thicknesses, prices), and computes the structures. The work results in establishing that modular structures are the most advantageous and easy to operate. The paper provides dependences of maximum deformations and maximum stresses on the modular system parameters making it possible to select the most suitable system dimensions.
