Selection of the optimal circuit configuration of the EMG signal registration unit for prosthesis

The creation of prostheses with a biological control signal is an important task in the field of medical technology. Three options for the registration of an electromyographic (EMG) signal for active prostheses are considered: a circuit based on an instrumental amplifier, a circuit with the addition of “active ground”, and a circuit with the addition of filtering the polarization voltage of the electrodes. Based on these options, a layout was invented. In the course of a study conducted using the prototype, EMG signals from the triceps were recorded and processed. Based on the results obtained, the optimal scheme of the EMG signal registration unit in the prosthesis was selected.
