Improvement of the technological process of assembly of the manifold type product by replacing the braze joint with an adhesive one

The article discusses the possibility of replacing the braze joint with an adhesive one when assembling an aircraft fuel system manifold. The calculation of the required shear strength of the adhesive joint was carried out. The authors analyzed the adhesives of foreign and domestic manufacturers. Based on the calculation and analysis of the products, the best adhesive composition for the considered case was selected. The paper also presents an enlarged calculation of the funds required for research work. A qualitative assessment of the economic efficiency of this solution is carried out. The current and proposed technological processes are considered in detail. Conclusions are drawn on replacing the braze connection of the c manifold type assembly with an adhesive one.
