The problem of pollution of near-Earth space by space debris and the consequences associated with it are considered. Various methods of its disposal are shown, focusing on passive approaches. The principles of operation of various technologies, their advantages, disadvantages and applicability in the conditions of the modern space industry are analyzed. The expediency of their use in monetary terms is considered. The joint use of passive methods and the economic effect of their application are also considered. The use of these methods can not only solve the problems of near-Earth orbit pollution and ensure the safe operation of space technology, but also influence the overall development of space technologies and space exploration by integrating the above-mentioned methods into industries related to the study of the Solar system and deep space.
