Personality development as affected by information technology

The article presents the results of studying the effect of contemporary information technology on humanity and touches upon the main problems stemming from the development of information technology, in particular, from the emergence of social networks and updated electronic devices. We emphasise the possibility of changes that might take place in the mind and body of a person who uses social networks, smartphones and other electronic devices that might adversely affect his or her place in the society of today.
