Brainstorming as an individual method of knowledge extraction

This article considers the definition of the term “brainstorming”, including one of the prerequisites for its success — the obligatory presence of two or more participants. It is suggested that brainstorming can be carried out not only by a group of people, but also by one person. As evidence, the study considered various methods of comparing the personalities of different people and searching for their similarities. It is concluded that brainstorming can be both group and individual due to the peculiarities of personality formation in society.
