Adaptation of people with disabilities using the assistive devices

Adaptation of people with disabilities could appear to be a significant challenge. These people may face obstacles and restrictions in their daily lives, such as climbing stairs or using the public transportation. Such restrictions could lead to exclusion and alienation, which would negatively affect health and well-being of the people with disabilities. This article is devoted to the problems of adaptation of such people and analysis of possibilities in using new technologies, including the assistive devices, to solve these problems. Besides, it considers various development areas that are able to assist these people in successful adaptation in the modern society ensuring inclusiveness and accessibility.
