Aspects of professional ethics of the judicial community are considered. The origins and reasons for the formation of professional ethics of judges are investigated not as a set of unwritten rules of conduct, but in the form of a codified collection of norms. Conclusions are drawn about the presence of a large number of evaluative concepts in the modern Code of Professional Ethics of Judges. At the same time, it has been established that it is impossible to create an exhaustive list of rules of conduct for judges, covering all life situations without exception. It is concluded that stricter requirements should be imposed on judicial candidates to ensure these rules.
