Professional ethics of the forensic expert

The problematic aspects of professional ethics institute of the forensic expert are considered, related primarily to the lack of an appropriate codified legal act valid for all forensic experts. Scientific works of famous legal scholars in the field, as well as the Code of Ethics developed by the Russian Federal Center of forensic expertise under the Ministry of Justice of Russia for state experts of the relevant forensic institutions were studied. The necessity of legislative registration of the general norms of professional ethics of the forensic expert was noted, but also highlighted the possibility of new problems associated with a certain complexity of application of such norms.
