The actual problem of the introduction of medical decision support systems into the clinical practice of diagnostics according to the profile of acute abdominal diseases is considered. A brief description of the principles of operation of the proposed system is given. Based on the results of approbation, a proposal was given forward to profile the system into a symptom checker of such a difficultly diagnosed and dangerous disease for a patient as an acute violation of mesenteric circulation. In the future, the system being developed will allow, at the stage of a preliminary comprehensive examination of a patient, to prevent potential diagnostic errors associated with untimely establishment of a clinical diagnosis, inaccurate or insufficient implementation of the rules for obtaining, processing and analyzing information obtained as a result of diagnostic search.
